Disco lleno de melodias precisas,pausadas y por demas bien ejecutadas.Sonidos a medio tiempo el cual hace bastante incapie en los sonidos de los instrumentos pero sin dejar de lado la parte vocal que es a dos voces,una combinacion la cual da bastante buen resultado.No Wave con Indierock es como se podria decir que es el estilo de la banda en esta produccion.La cual esta bastante bien cuidada en cuanto y sonido y presentacion.Sonido fresco e interesante es lo que nos ofrecen.Un album para simplemente disfrutar.

Este 7" nos trae tres artistas,tocando la misma cancion.El lado A contiene la version original,la cual es una cancion completamente acustica,llena de emocion y sentimiento.El cantante lastimosamente murio hace algunos años y la idea de este 7" es para darle un homenaje a su trabajo y apoyar una fundacion de ayuda la cual lleva su nombre.
En el lado B tenemos primero a Schreng Schreng Und La La,el cual incluye un par de otros instrumentos,los cuales le dan al tema matices diferentes y la vez enriqucedores del sonido.Hello nos brinda una version un tanto parecida a la original pero conservando su propia identidad como cover.Interesante lanzamiento por una excelente buena causa.

this 7 inch brings us a song played by 3 different artist.The A side has the original song,which is completely played witha acoustic guitar,a song fulled with passion and feeling.Sadly the singer died few years ago and the idea of this 7" is a tribute to his work and also is helping a foundation which has his name.
The side B have Schreng Schreng Und La La,who is including a couple of other instruments to the songs which is really cool and bring a new air to the melody.Hello Piedpiper is playing also a completely acoustic version with a voice that is simply awesome giving the songs a whole new atmosphere.Interesting release for a good cause.

Luego de un buen tiempo sin poder oir nada de esta banda,nos viene de sorpresa este Ep,el cual contiene 7 temas que sonicamnete afianzan el sonido el cual la banda sabe practicar muy bien,Punk directo con algunos toques de melodia,no llegando a ser melodico.En este trabajo se siente mucho que la guitarra se ha hecho un poco mas pesada,teniendo un rol bastante presente en los temas.Las canciones son introspectivas,inteligentes y personlas.Cada cancion es un historia distinta pero de alguna manera tiene un tema en comun el cual es como vivir la vida de una manera honesta y sincera.Musica la cual llena y hace pensar.Excelente trabajo.

Hace ya tiempo no habia escuchado una banda nueva (para mi al menos) la cual me capture de manera tan rapida con su musica.Esta banda nos ofrece en 9 temas un espectro sonico muy nutrido y bien trabajado.Temas hipnoticos y potentes.Teniendo como base el Punk pero con mas matices como el Post-Punk,Math-Rock,Stoner Rock.Musicalmente los temas son intensos y reflexivos,la parte vocal es bastante bien trabajada,la vocalista tiene una voz la cual queda perfecta con la musica de la banda.Una produccion la cual brilla por merito propio de la mejor manera.

Lo que le sobra a esta banda es calidad.Un disco el cual es autentico,sincero y potente desde el primer segundo.Su estilo va por el lado del Hardcore Sxe con muchos elementos Metal en la parte de las guitarras y algunos riffs.Con un sonido compacto y agresivo esta banda escapa de buena forma de las cliches del genero para crear temas los cuales de verdad son interesantes.Lirica acerca del tema del Sxe enfocados de una manera no panfletaria.La parte vocal es gritoneada pero hasta un punto el cual es totalmente entendible.Un disco es cual vale la pena tener y disfrutar.

Reciente numero de este ya bastante conocido zine Australiano.En esta ocasion encontramos notas acerca de Una nota en un magazine local,sobre una chica mostrandose en topless,La chica del biquini Rojo,la cual fue la primera playboy australiana,Una historia de una pareja la cual esxplora su sexualidad y la cuenta,un interesantre y bien detallado articulo sobre masturbacion,relato sobre una chica y su vida sexual y en paginas centrales un reportaje/entrevistas con una chica rusa la cual no tiene tapujos en hablar sobre su sexualidad.Todo esto decorado con fotos explicitas.Lo bueno de este zine es que toma todos los temas de manera detallada y muy pero muy seria y bien redactada.Escrito en ingles.

Excellent ep of this band from Spain,which has only 3 songs but the quality is just great,they found their sound and they are exploring it in a very professional way.The guitar as usual have a very important role but also the sweet but strong voice of the singer help to create music that is simply good.Lyrics about personal issues but connected with question about modern society.Honestly a great band.

Provenientes de Usa,con solo 5 temas me han logrado conquistar.El sonido de esta banda es fresco y honesto.Su musica tiene un sonido el cual es envolvente y para nada trillado.Emo Midwest con una actitud bastante Punk es lo que puedes encontrar en esta produccion.Las melodias son bastante noise y la voz totalmente clara y bien trabajada.Musica en conjunto bastante dulce y que da ganas de seguir oyendo una y otra vez.Excelente demo.

Lo primero que me viene a la mente para definir esta produccion es : Excelente.Con una mezcla de Jangle-Pop,Folk e Indierock,los temas transcurren de manera pausada y armoniosa,siendo cada cancion un paisaje de por si.La voz es bastante suave y trabajada y los instrumentos se lucen por la manera en la que se funden.Esta produccion se luce en cuanto a composicion y arreglos.40 minutos para cerrar los ojos y simplemente disfrutar.

Felizmente no paso mucho tiempo desde la edicion de su demo ep,para que esta banda editara lo que es ahora su album debut.Desde Alemania este duo,con este disco ha sabido exponer un puñado de temas,10 en total,los cuales desde un principio tiene el poder de atraparte con su sonido.Indierock acustico.El trabajo vocal es simplemente impresionante,el vocalista tiene un registro el cual es dulce pero a la vez desgarrador.La parte sonora esta muy bien trabajada encajando a la perfeccion con la atmosfera melancolica de la voz.Un disco debut que hace ver que esta banda tiene mucho,muschismo por mostrar y lo ha empezado a hacer de una buena manera.

Siempre me van a gustar las compilaciones,no existe mejor manera de descubrir quizas cosas excelentes.En este caso tenemos un sampler con 36 temas!,los cuales encajan el hardcore y el metal.El sonido camina por bandas totalmente fuertes y rapidas a otras las cuales son oscuras y de sonido intrincado.Lo que tiene de sobra este sampler es furia,cada banda a su manera contribuye con una energia y bulla,haciendo de este sampler algo super interesante y nada monotono y/o aburrido de oir y lo mejor lo puedes bajar completamente gratis.Dos horas de musica totalmente que vale la pena.

Solo una palabra puede describir esta banda : "INCREIBLE".Desde francia esta produccion la cual ha sido editada en dos formatos,cuenta con 11 temas instrumentales que se nutren del Post-rock y el Post-hardcore mas alucinado y estridente.Temas con una base ritmica bastante acelerada y con muchos breakdowns,guitarra distorsionada y bastante bien trabajada,hacen de los temas,musica que sea desde el primer momento sumamente audible pero a la vez complicada e intrincada.Una excelente produccion la cual debe de estar en toda coleccion.

A pesar de que han pasado mas de 10 años de la explosion emo y emocore de vez en vez salen bandas que toman ese sonido tan generico como referencia y crean temas que siguen de alguna manera la misma linea.Con una marcada influencia de Post-Hardcore Melodico,ellos elaboran canciones ricas en riffs de guitarras combinados con una voz bastante personal quizas demasiado parecido a Saosin,del cual estoy seguro que han tomado mucha influencia.En si no un mal lanzamiento,quizas muy generico.

Debo empezar diciendo que este album es simplemente excelente,temas a medio tiempo con melodias las cuales se vuelven hipnoticas,una voz totalmente apasionada,el sonido es un revival del Midwest Emo de mitad de los 90´s pero aparte de eso los temas estan cargados de letras inteligentes y personales.Una produccion limpia y muy bien grabada,con temas intensos y melancolicos en cierta forma.Excelente album debut.

Y para comenzar este año lo hacemos con la nueva produccion de este cantautor español.Este disco nos reune todo los ep editados por el desde el inicio de su carrera solista (anteriormente el fue la voz de la conocida banda de emo Madee).Son 24 temas que repasan varios años de produccion musical con versiones distintas a las originales.Su musica tiene algo de magico en cada acorde que te atrapa desde el primer momento,musica pausada,voz dulce e hipnotica,letras tan diarias como personales,hacen que se creen canciones que nunca te cansas de escuchar y con las cuales te identificas facilmente.Lo unico que debo decir es que me hubiera gustado que salga en version vinilo,pero la calidad de la produccion vale de todas maneras tenerla.Un produccion infaltable en cada coleccion musical.

Este Cdr me llego de sorpresa y mayor fue mi agrado y sorpresa al oirlos.Esta banda en los 5 temas que componen el demo hacen muestra de una excelente calidad en cuanto a sonido y lirica.Su estilo se puede definir como Stoner Doom Metal.Los arreglos de guitarra son impresionantes y la parte vocal es intensa y acida.Temas a medios tiempos que hablan sobre el demonio,el infierno y el consumo de marihuana son los temas de sus canciones,pero expuestos de una manera bien hecha.Al oir los temas te puedes dar cuenta que estos chicos saben exactamente lo que estan haciendo y hacia donde desean llegar.Casi media hora de musica intenta y personal que de hecho te atrapara.Excelente demo.

Profilico zine desde Australia,el cuanta con una buena digramacion a lo vieja escuela y es a fotocopia,conteniendo fotos y muchos collages.el tema central de esta edicion es Rikk Agnew el cual es un musico que formo parte de bandas como Social Distortion,Adolescents y Christian Death.Articulos sobre su vida,opiniones sobre su trabajo e sobre su influencia en otras personas,ademas de una extensa entrevista es lo que nos compila esta edicion del zine.La lectura es facil y entretenida,las respuestas a las preguntas bastante interesantes.Una buena edicion la cual nos da este zine.Escrito en ingles.

Album debut conteniendo 10 preciosos temas en onda TweePop,esta banda desde hace un buen tiempo gracias a sus ediciones en 7" se gano un buen nombre dentro de esta escena y con este trabajo debut no hace mas que confirmar que han llegado a un punto de madurez musical y lirica de buen nivel.Usando intrumentos varios como violin,piano,ukulele ademas de bateria,guitarra y bajo,crean pasajes sonoros los cuales son dignos de ser prestados en atencion y que pueden ser disfrutados desde la primera escucha.La voz suave y armoniosa de la cantante hace que los temas tomen un excelente rumbo.No hay suficientes palabras para poder describir lo bueno de este lanzamiento,solo que si no lo oyes te estas perdiendo de 10 temas que pueden convertirse en el soundtrack de tus dias.

Hace ya mucho tiempo que no recibia un fanzine en este idioma y mas aun en este tipo de diseño.Desde Alemania esta publicacion mas alla de explorar el lado musical esta centrado en articulos relacionados con el Punkrock,es decir criticas hacia el movimiento,pero las cuales estan bastante bien fundamentadas y expuestas,algunos reporte de viaje y experiencias de vida y ademas una buena seccion de reseñas.El diseño es en corta y pega lo cual logra una buena presentacion.Interesante y bien trabajado zine.Escrito en aleman

Regresaron!!!!! y de la mejor manera posible.10 temas de estos veteranos los cuales con el pasar de los años han sabido crear una legion de seguidores a base de esfuerzo y buenos temas.Esta produccion marca el inicio de una nueva etapa de la banda donde se centra mucho mas en los trabajos de guitarra algunos temas rozan con el shoegaze pero sin olvidar su ya conocido sonido Indierock.temas llenos de sonidos y distorsion acompañados por trabajos vocales bastante finos,hace de esta produccion un disco el cual es verdaderamente impresindible.

Desde el baul de los recuerdos pude rescatar esta publicacion.Editado en el 95 en Alemania,este zine cubre el espectro del Hardcore emocional,con entrevistas a : Spawn,Last Oht,Canon,Blindfold.Contando con Fotografias,reseñas y articulos de opinion.La manera en la cual esta escrito el zine refleja perfectamente el momento en el cual estuvo editado,lo cual hace de esta publicacion algo sumamente interesante para poder entender un poco mas el como esa epoca fue vista y vivida.Como una pieza de referencia y coleccion este zine es perfecto.Escrito en aleman.

Un trabajo bastante solido nos entrega esta agrupacion de Australia,incluye 7 temas de lo que se podria definir como Hardcore de la nueva escuela,desde la portada se nota una gran influencia de bandas como Verse,lo cual tambien se refleja un poco en el sonido de los temas.La mayoria de las canciones estan tocadas en tiempos medios haciendo incapie en el trabajo de la guitarra,por su parte la voz es bastante desgarradora e intensa.Para los interesados en el genero esta produccion debe estar en su coleccion.

A very solid release bring to us this band from Australia,include 7 tracks that you can call Hardcore New School,from the artwork to the sound (like Verse or so).Most of the the songs are playing in middle tempo with strong weight on the guitar sound,the voice is amazing very strong.i think the song are very good played and you get what they want to say you right away the first seconds of music,this is something nowadays very difficult but this band is making a kind of music full of feeling that listen the album is a great experience.For the ones that like this style this band is a Must.

12 temas de Indierock con una onda bastante relajada y bien compuesta,utilizando en algunos temas vientos y cuerdas lo cual le da al sonido de la banda un espectro mas amplio de exploracion.Algunos temas tienen un pequeño aire a melodias folk.La formula es casi la misma a bandas ya consagradas del genero pero no quita que estos chicos sepan tocar y hacerlo con pasion.A mi parecer los temas estan bien contruidos y deja sentir un cierto nivel de melancolia en sus canciones.Aunque no es nada nuevo,esta produccion cumple el objetivo de ser entretenido.

12 tracks of Indierock with a chilling wave and very good sound.Some songs have violins and saxophone something pretty interesting because make the sound richer,some of the songs have a thiny folk wind.But honest the band play a style that is slow not more new,and sometime sound a little like the "big" bands o the style.To me the music is pretty good you can feel some melancholy going on,kind of music for rainy days.Its nothing new but still entreteining.

Este zine es una verdadera joya,editado en Alemania en los 90´s se centra en la escena Hardcore con una diagramacion que se nota que se hizo usando una computadora antigua,pero que le da ese toque muy especial.Encontramos entrevistas con : 108,Rain Still Falls,Onestepbeyond,Treadmill,Reprove,Contraint,ademas de articulos sobre la escena y reseñas.Por ser mas que nada un documento de la epoca es que la lectura se hace interesante,pero no se debe a tomar a mal,que el zine esta excelentemente hecho.Escrito en aleman.

Hace ya un tiempo no oia una banda de este estilo es por eso que me alegro el poder encontrar de pura casualidad este banda.Con esta produccion nos entregan 16 temas cargados de riffs de guitarra y bateria super acelerada.Si lo tuyo son bandas de Hardcore Melodico con reminicencias de los buenos 90´s,esta banda no te va adefraudar por nada.Con un tufillo a Skatecore,esta banda ha sabido crear un album lleno de melodias con furia pero a la vez con mucha melodia.De verdad vale la pena el poder oir la banda.

Nueva entrega de este divertido fanzine,que de manera cinica pero critica no toma nada en serio y critica todo cliche dentro de la "escena".En esta edicion entrevistas con : Cold World,Rykers,Erom,Search For Fame,Bloodpact,Tim Mcmahon,Nowack.Ademas de eso articulos sobre Hardcore Rap y un buen articulo sobre alguien que comenta el disco que lo influencio.Collages y comix hacen que la parte visual sea batante interesante.Un buen zine,uno de mis favoritos.Escrito en aleman/ingles.

Banda de Canada la cual nos entrega su mas reciente produccion.Son 10 temas de un clasico y previsible Hardcore Youth Crew,son en total 10 temas los cuales aunque a mi parecer no aportan nada nuevo,cumple su funcion de sera referencia mas del genero.Con letras acerca de amistad,y sobre la escena.Ellos viene tocando ya desde hace algunos años y trabajando duro y parejo se han hecho de un buen nombre en el estilo que practica.Lo descatable de esta produccion es que esta bastante bien hecha el sonido de la banda es compacto y fuerte.para los amantes de el genero esta banda vale la pena de ser oida.

Bien Hubiera podido funcionar este lanzamiento en 7" ya que solo incluye dos temas,los cuales llevan consigo mucha energia.El primer tema esta inclinado al Hardcore pero tiene elementos de Progresivo en el trabajo de guitarra.El segundo tema tiene un sonido mas Metalcore/Postcore teniendo mucho peso en los trabajos vocales.Lo interesante del sonido de la banda es que no es monotono y cada vez que oyes los temas encuentras algun sonido nuevo.Me hubiera gustado el poder oir mas temas de esta banda,por que sinceramente es bastante buena.

I think this release would looks perfect as a 7" because only have 2 tracks,which are fully with energy.The first song is on the Hardcore with some Progresive sound with nice guitar works.The second tracks sound more like Metalcore/Postcore having a strong weight on the vocal work.The interesting in the band is that the sound is pretty heavy and everytime you hear the music you can listen new sound surrounding the music.I would love to listen more music on this demo because the band is extremly good.

La primera edicion ya fue comentada aqui hace un par de dias,este trabajo es el nuevo que nos hacen llegar,el cual mantiene la linea de informacion de la edicion debut,esta vez los temas tratados no se centran tanto en el lado sexual (abuso o experiencias) esta vez toca temas como violencia domestica y metods de humillacion hacia mujeres.La digramacion esta vez esta mucho mejor hecha conteniendo mas collages lo cual hace la vision y lectura mas aatractiva,sin dejar de lado en todo caso lo bien escrito y personal de los articulos expuestos.Escrito en ingles.

Un disco de principio a fin bastante solido,debo de comenzar con esta frase por que he quedado impresionado con esta produccion.Desde Holanda encontramos en esta produccion 10 temas demoledores,con melodias entre el Punk sofisticado y el Hardcore de nueva escuela,aunque se puede sentir un tufillo a la escuela post dosmil de Estados Unidos.En todo caso lo que no le falta a el disco es calidad,con temas que aunque son rapidos y furiosos no pierden en toque de sentimiento.El trabajo vocal algo gritoneado por tiempos se caracteriza por encajar muy bien con la base sonora.Si tienes la oportunidad hazte de una copia de esta produccion.

Album debut de esta banda del Reino Unido,el cual contiene 10 cortes de una calidad muy alta.Para describir su estilo se me viene a la mente decir Hardcore moderno,con partes metalicas,pero esa descripcion quedaria corta ya que su sonido va mucho mas alla,incorporando elementos de la vieja escuela y ademas de´arreglos bastante tecnicos con un gran peso en las riffs de la guitarra.El trabajo vocal es impecable se siente que el vocalista siente pasion por lo que hace y es asi que se logran oir temas de una intensidad admirable.Una produccion la cual vale la pena tomar en cuenta.

Proveniente de Brasil este comixzine nos cuenta una historia de un chico el cual al terminar con su novia,busca de alguna manera ocupar su tiempo haciendo cosas por demas extrañas,por ejemplo quemando los regalos recibidos de ella en una vieja television.Al final se da cuenta que aun no puede olvidarla pero decide seguir con su vida.La manera de graficar el zine esta bastante bien hecha y como es en fotocopia le da un toque aun mas sombrio a la historia lo cual es un punto extra.Bastante bien trabajados los dibujos y la historia.Escrito en ingles.

Con solo tres temas esta banda logor captar mi atencion inmediatamente.Desde Gran Bretaña practicando una mezcla de generos los cuales tienen una fuerte base de Ska,pero tiene algo de Punk y de arpegios de Rocknroll.Un tema a medio tiempo y los otros mucho mas rapido y ya apegandose al Skacore,donde se puede apreciar bien cada instrumento,el trabajo vocal es limpio y armonioso pero sin dejar de lado un tufillo aspero al cantar.Lo unico malo de este demo es que solo tres canciones la verdad se hacen muy pocas.

With only three songs they got my attention very quickly.From Great Britain they play a mix between Ska with some Punk sound and a lot of Rocknroll riffs going on.A slow song and 2 very very faster songs with a wind of Skacore,where you can listen very clearn every instrument mixed with a nice voice that sometime sound very screaming but still nice.The only bad thing on this demo is taht 3 songs are to less!!!.

Como se puede deducir del titulo del zine,esta es una publicacion de tendencia anrquista,pero lo bueno es que no es panfletaria.Ente los temas tratados aqui tenemos articulos sobre sexualidad,politica,desobendecia civil,critica al anarquismo,poesia libertaria,accion directa.Todo esto presentado de una manera bastante diy,lo cual hace que tenga una presentacion digna de ser vista.Un zine interesante y no trillado que es lo mejor.Escrito en español.

As you can guess on thre title,this is an anarchistic publication but not the ususl one,this one goes far from the "usual" anarchozines around.Some of the topic here are about sexuality,politics,against laws,poetry,direct action.All package in a very nice diy way,something that make the zine very interesting.Writing in spanish.

Es posible que despues de tantos años la misma formula funcione con el postcore/emo?.Luego de oir esta banda debo de decir que si,aunque algunos temas suenan algo trillado,es decir,voz suave,grito,voz,suave.Los temas funcionen bastante bien por el hecho de que estan muy bien hechos y la voz del cantante tiene un buen registro.Aunque el tufillo a "trillado" se hace presente en varios temas,los que escapan a esto se hacen bastante agradables de oir.En general se puede decir que es una banda que si se concentrara en no seguir al pie de la letra patrones ya conocidos puede tener mucho que ofrecer.

It would be possible that after all this years the same postcore/emo sound still is hip?.After listen this band i think so.some of their songs sound like the typical emo band trying to be famous and other sound really interesting for the sound work and the vocal work is still nice,ok some tradcks are the normal singing/screaming stuff.I must say that if the band forget trying to be an emo band would be a great band,i have the feeling they have a lot more to offer.
